Introducing Lindsey Pfeiffenberger, Rêve's Newest Instructor!
We are so excited to announce our community ride with Lindsey Pfeiffenberger! Chances are you recognize Lindsey from the studio, as she is one of our most consistent riders, and we are so excited to experience her transition to the podium! We asked her to complete some sentences for us, read on to get more familiar with why she decided to become a Rêve instructor, what are some of her favorite activities outside the studio, and a preview of the types of songs we can expect to hear. She will be teaching her first community ride this Friday, March 4th, at 5:30. We hope to see you there!
1. I ride at Rêve because…
I used to run, but it was getting hard on my body. I tried indoor cycling and loved the workout. I love that moment when your legs start burning and the sweat starts dripping. Plus, once I walked into Rêve, I instantly fell in love with the community of riders and the instructors.
2. Teaching’s a big job! About what are you most excited? What makes your class unique?
I'm excited to motivate others! By finding songs I love and mixing them with awesome choreography and resistance, I feel like I will create a fun and unique experience.
3. Three songs you’ll definitely find on my first few playlists will be…
We love having dance parties at my house, and I Don't Feel like Dancin’, Uptown Funk and Temple have been our favorites! I'm from the Midwest and have a secret love for old school country. Don't be surprised to start hearing some from time to time.
4. When I’m not at the studio, you can find me…
We are an active and social family- and I'm not good at sitting still. There are so many ways we keep busy! I work in special education with middle school students. I love to bake sweet treats, read, attempt home improvement projects, play at the beach, or snowshoe around.
5. The most challenging part about becoming an instructor has been…
Trusting myself to give everyone the kind of workout I expect when I walk into the studio. I want everyone to feel amazing and motivated and, of course, sweaty.
6. Anything else you'd like the Rêve community to know about you?
I'm originally from Fargo, ND and moved out east all alone 13 years ago. I've lived in 6 states and traveled and moved a lot when I worked in corporate and retail management. But, my English degree brought me back to education, and ultimately teaching spin!
