Our Top List: Items to Bring with you to Rêve
There is nothing more electric than taking a class at Rêve. From the motivating instructors, the upbeat playlists, and the welcoming staff, once you come to one class, you’re sure to come back! We want you to enjoy all that Rêve has to offer, and in order to do that we want to make sure you come to class prepared. So here’s our top list of items to bring with you when you come to our studio:
Water
This is a MUST. In order to really get as much out of our classes as possible, it’s important to stay hydrated. There’s a spot on our bikes for your water so make sure you fill up your jug with plenty of H20 before coming to class. We do have a water cooler in case you need to fill up before class. And — make sure you stop by our front desk to snag a special Rêve decal for your water bottle too!
Hair Accessories
We all know how hot and sweaty a Rêve class can be, especially this time of year. Make sure you have something to tie your hair back; a headband or hat also works well! We offer ponytail holders on our water cooler in case you happen to forget and you can check out some of our Rêve branded hats, too. Ask our staff for help picking one out at your next class!
What Should I Wear for Shoes?
While you can take a class at Reve with or without cycling specific shoes, if you have them, make sure you bring them — all of our bikes are SPD clip compatible. Clipping into the bike is going to offer you a smoother, more in-control ride. If you don’t have cycling shoes, a pair of other athletic shoes will work just fine. You can slide your foot into the cage on the bike pedal.
Shower — stay a little longer!
If you plan on grabbing a drink with friends after class or an incredible smoothie from Blake Orchard — our downstairs neighbor — save the time by utilizing our showers. We have two showers equipped with soaps, shampoo, and conditioner. A great way to save some time on those busy days.
Enjoying that post-class Rêve bliss
Spending time outside is something that can’t be beat this time of year! Our studio is conveniently located across the street from Back Cove which is a beautiful 3.5 mile loop trail that is ideal for biking, running, or walking with incredible views. After class, take a cool down lap around the trail; a great way to enjoy those long summer days! If you do enjoy a nice walk, make sure you bring your earbuds to keep those motivated jams going. (Don’t worry — we’ve got you covered. Check out our Spotify playlists inspired by our team of instructors!)
